This website features my research and thoughts. I am working as an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Business Administration at the European University of Bangladesh. I previously worked with Dr. Akbar Ali Khan (Economist, Former Bureaucrat & Adviser to the Caretaker Government) as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at BRAC University for about five years. I also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed (Adviser, Ministry of Finance and Former Governor of the Bangladesh Bank) and Dr. Mirza Azizul Islam (Former Adviser to the Caretaker Government) from time to time. My research interests include corporate profitability, capital structure, equity analysis, and financial technology. I have several publications (20+) in peer-reviewed journals. I obtained my BBA and MBA in Finance from BRAC University. I intend to attend an AACSB-accredited business school to pursue a PhD in Finance.
